Welcome! This is my first blog post here, so I guess I should start by giving some context on what this is.
This isn’t my first blog. Around a year or so ago, I used to write posts semi-regularly for another blog I had started while bored in quarantine. I used Google’s Blogger platform when I launched that blog, and while that was fun, I eventually stopped due to other commitments.
I’ve always wanted to get back into it, but in a more legitimate way. There was nothing wrong with using Blogger, but it always felt like it was slightly not in my control. It was a free platform hosted by Google, and we all know Google has a habit of killing services willy-nilly (RIP everyone who decided to become a social media influencer through Google+).
Besides, I’ve also wanted to HAVE my own website for a while now. I could use it to display the various projects I work on, and anything else I find interesting.
So that’s my backstory. Oh, and if you’re interested, here‘s the link for the old blog. I’m not going to take it down (I have too many nostalgic restraints for that) but it’s not going to be actively maintained and none of the posts from there are going to be ported over.
