Hi there, I’m Aaqel.

I'm an aspiring computer scientist interested in XR visualization and systems engineering. I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC), where I work part-time as a researcher at the Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL).   • Investigating VR resolution fidelity and its effects on user task performance during tele-operation in self-driven labs.
  • Learning Destination Dispatch and trying to model a better algorithm for the elevators in my apartment building.
  • Exploring a new interaction interface for the CAVE2 at EVL.
